This post comes to us from Deborah Scott, our Gift Shop & Resale Boutique retail operations manager who updates us on our first ever "Afternoon Delight Summer Series" held recently.
Our first Afternoon Delight was a great success thanks to the generous participation of one
of Las Vegas’ fabulous performers, Audrei Kairen. We had an incredible time at the Gift Shop June 13, 2009…shopping, shopping, and shopping! What’s more, our customers sat back and relaxed to intimate jazz that afternoon. We made many new friends and customers and we were pleased to see so many of our St. Jude’s Ranch Volunteers come out to support this event! Complimentary coffee was provided by Colorado River Coffee Roasters, all inclusive with a little education of the life of a coffee bean. Thanks Sally, you really made a great presentation. Rolling the dice took on a whole new meaning, and our customers were pleased to get a wonderful discount with every roll. We look forward to our next Afternoon Delight on June 27, 2009. Shopping, savings, music and coffee….what an enjoyable way to spend the day and contributing to the support of our kids!
