Special Event Volunteer Oppportunities
Individual Home Decoration Groups November 12th We have 10 individual homes that need your special touch. Your group, neighborhood, or even family and friends could help the children who live in these homes decorate for the holidays. With passably six (6) 6 children in each household you can imagine the difficulty to get ready for the holidays. Some of our children have never had a Christmas and some of your time could help make this time of year extra special for both you and the children in our homes.
Administration Holiday Decorating – November 12th 10am until finished Getting ready for the holiday season here at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children is quite an undertaking. With your help it can be both fun and easy! Donate a few hours of your time and join the fun by helping us decorate. Gently used Christmas decorations to help make everything festive are also welcome.
Ongoing Volunteer Oppportunities
Gift Shop - Our gift shop is open every day of the week and we rely on volunteers to make it the best it can be for our customers. Opportunities are available for once a month, a set schedule per week or whatever fits your needs. We will work to accommodate your schedule.
Mailroom - The holiday season brings all kinds of excitement to our campus and the mailroom is no exception. Perhaps one of the busiest areas on our campus, we receive close to 40 large bins of mail each day and with only one person working part time sorting, we really need additional help. Volunteer with a great team and experience a joyful atmosphere with wonderful people. We can work to accommodate your schedule.
Maintenance - With 40 acres, 20 buildings and only two maintenance workers, we need help with the simple stuff like changing air filters, repairing sprinklers and other similar ‘to-do’ items you would normally do on the weekend with your own home. Our goal is to recruit 10 volunteers.
Car Museum - You may not know this, but we have a wonderful car museum in need of an attendant to oversee touring visitors. Some sweeping and possible dusting of classic cars makes this volunteer opportunity super easy! Contact us for all the details.
Donation - Pick-up Donations to SJRC are picked up each Tuesday and we are in need of someone to assist the driver. Contact us for more information.
